What is your role at Strongdor?
“My role at Strongdor is Purchasing Co-ordinator, which consists of purchasing just about anything and everything! From sheet steel and hardware for our customer’s steel doors, to tea and coffee for staff, including arranging imports from our suppliers, whether they are near or far.
I would say my biggest priority within my role would be ensuring all our products arrive at the factory on time, enabling production to continue with ease so our customers can keep their promised delivery date”
What do you love about working for Strongdor?
“The friendly atmosphere, where everyone is working as a whole team. I love the way that everyone contributes their ideas to help improve our product and our in-house processes.
Also, I can’t forget about the BBQs, Pizzas, Fish & Chips and many other celebratory treats we get to enjoy!”
How long have you worked at Strongdor?
“I joined Strongdor just under 2 years ago. At this time it was right at the heart of the pandemic!”
What's something most people don't know about you?
“Most people don’t know that one of my favourite forms of exercise is mountain biking. I mainly like to go in the Lake District, from gravel tracks to bridleways and man-made trails. If anyone has any suggestions of trials I could do it would be more than appreciated.”
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
“Foresight would definitely be an ability I would love to gain. Not only would it be useful in work for being able to know what products I need in advance, but in everyday life. You’d be able to forget the days when you thought hindsight was good and just know what you need instead.”
