Introducing Our Upgraded Respiratory Protective Equipment

At Strongdor, the safety and well-being of our team have always been our top priority . So we are thrilled to announce a recent upgrade to our welding respiratory protective equipment, aimed at ensuring the utmost safety and comfort for our dedicated welding team.

SHEQ Coordinator, Paul Catto explains: " Our new 3M Speedglas 9100 FX-Air welding helmets, combined with the 3M Adflo powered air purifying respirator, offer a superior level of protection. These helmets not only shield against harmful Ulatra violet and infrared rays but also provide filtered air from the advanced Adflo unit to protect from weld fume. With a flip-up front, these helmets allow for a wider field of view during grinding and prep work whilst allowing the respiratory protection to be kept in place.”

Since the introduction of the upgraded respiratory equipment, members of our welding team have shared their positive feedback. They complimented the newfound comfort and improved functionality of the 3M Speedglas welding helmets.
