Strongdor is thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised an incredible grand total of, £2500 for St Johns Hospice through the 50-50-500 challenge! This remarkable achievement highlights the generosity and support of our customers, suppliers, and team members who pulled together for a cause close to so many people.
Despite joining the challenge later than other participants, Strongdor defied the odds and claimed 1st place on the St Johns Hospice challenge leaderboard for raising the most donations. This victory was made possible by our amazing customers and suppliers who not only contributed to our JustGiving page but also donated a wide range of prizes for our staff auction. Their contributions were crucial in helping us surpass our fundraising goals and making a meaningful impact.
Internally, the Strongdor team organised multiple events to boost our fundraising efforts and engage everyone in the challenge. With the excitement of the Euros 2024 approaching, Senior Door Specialist, Jamie Rodgers devised a creative football game where team members could donate and choose their favourite team. This fun and interactive game brought out the competitive spirit in everyone and significantly contributed to our fundraising pot.
In addition to the football game, Marketing Project Coordinator Emily Ward created a silent auction that featured fantastic prizes donated by generous local businesses. The auction was a huge success, drawing participation from all our staff and helping to raise substantial funds for the hospice.
St Johns Hospice provides essential care and support to individuals and families facing serious illnesses. With so many people affected, we recognise the crucial need for invaluable support provided by this incredible charity. Your contributions have made a significant impact on their vital work, enabling them to continue offering compassionate care to those in need. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved together and are inspired to continue supporting charitable causes in the future.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who participated, donated, and supported our efforts. Your generosity and dedication have made a real difference, and we are grateful to have such a wonderful community standing with us. Strongdor is committed to making a positive impact, and we look forward to more opportunities to give back and support those in need.
